Natia Ugrekhelidze is a Georgian set and costume designer and multimedia artist.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Production and Set Design for Film and Television at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, graduating in 2021. Afterward, she completed courses in theatrical-costume tailoring and accessory making in Tbilisi, as well as a short course in costume design in London. In 2023 Natia began further studies in stage and costume design and contemporary art at Gogi Meskhishvili design school.
Alongside her design practice, she has explored acting and directing as additional ways to express her ideas and expand her understanding of performance. She has designed costumes for several short films, took part in group exhibitions, and works both independently on a variety of creative projects and as an assistant costume designer on commercial productions.
Her main interests are film, theatre, and performance, with a focus on how space, character, and material interact.
